The Co-op Members for Fairness Nominations Committee invites Saskatoon Co-op members to submit their names and résumés for consideration by April 10, 2019. Email material to marjoriekeyser@gmail.com.
To run for the Saskatoon Co-op Board, a candidate must have spent a minimum of $2,000 on goods and services from the Saskatoon Co-op during the previous fiscal year (2018). Call the Saskatoon Co-op (306-933-3801) to find this information.
Desirable qualifications include:
- diversity (current Board is all white and male),
- experience in co-op and community organizations,
- and an understanding of the principles and structure of co-op governance.

Candidates will be expected to introduce themselves at the Thursday, April 18 Town Hall meeting, or be introduced by a representative. Read more about the Town Hall event here. We will be discussing our strategy for Co-op board elections on this date.
